cedar-backup2 software package provides local and remote backups to CD or DVD media, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install cedar-backup2
cedar-backup2 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the cedar-backup2 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep cedar-backup2 *
